The Final Salute
2007

An Art on the Underground collaboration with Arsenal Football Club and 2,000 fans to create a a 52-metre long mural at Arsenal station to commemorate the team’s historic residence at Highbury which ended in 2006.

Players Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Ashley Cole were present to cut the ribbon on the mural, titled The Final Salute, which depicts the stadium’s 93-year history and offered a glimpse at the club’s roots in Woolwich and its future at Emirates Stadium.
