Igloo CinemaIgloo Cinema
Igloo cinema was a fantastical inflatable ‘melting’ igloo that I designed with Inflate for the Royal Festival Hall Clore Ballroom. The aim was to highlight issues of climate change and the cinema hosted films from a wide cross section of emerging film makers as well as being a backdrop for talks and music performances. A stunning paper chandelier by artist Jordy Fu took inspiration from the musical heritage of the Royal Festival Hall. Light sculptures were made by local school children and snow men soft play “skittles’ were designed by deaf children in collaboration with the National Deaf Childrens Society.
